In the morning we got up and got ready for Canyonlands National Park. It was farther away than Arches. The Canyonlands was a lot of Canyons and there were Canyons below Canyons. The first hike we went on was Whale Rock which was 1 mile round trip. It was a little steep on the top but other than that it was easy and fun. Then we went to Upheaval Dome. We went to the 1st view point and my brother and dad went to the 2nd view point. The 2nd view point was hard to get to they said, but the 1st view point was easy to get to. Next we went to the Aztec Granary (pantry) and their cliff dwellings on a Butte not a Butt a Butte. We all hiked to the Granary, but only me my dad and my brother went to the cliff dwellings. It was very steep going to the Cliff Dwellings (which my mom didn’t like) but easier going down. Then we went to a few view points. Lastly we went to Mesa Arch which was very cool and it was on a cliff. We went back to the visitors center and got our junior ranger badge and went to the cabin. That was our day at Canyonlands National Park.
