From Billings to Bozeman, we decided to take the long route through the northeast side of Yellowstone. We drove through Bear-tooth pass which was covered in snow. The snow was piled up on the road sides higher than our car. The top of the pass was called “top of the world”. We entered Yellowstone through the northeast entrance. This put us into Lamar Valley where we saw a lot of bison, a few deer, and several bears. We stopped at Mammoth Hot Springs to see the strange mineral formations from the hot spring. James thinks they look like steps. We finally made it to Bozeman. Tomorrow we head back into Yellowstone where we will be staying the next few days. There is limited WiFi and cellular service, so we probably won’t be posting anything for a few days.
